It will be nice to have export/import (atleast export) feature to xml or cvs.

What would you want to be able to have exported/imported--just bugs or other data, too? In the exported data, would you want fields like status, resolution, etc. which are all linked based on IDs to be exported maintaining their IDs or would you want the string names of the items (for instance: <status>4</status> or <status>Closed</status>)?

If you ask me export need to have at least this fields:
BUGID
Product (+ Component + Version)
Status
Severity
Assigment
Resolution
Priority
Summart
And i think "string names" is better for export. Export offen used to report someone about status of full job. You can create some statictics based on exported data by Excel (like tools). So indexes arent't useful for this.
I think export is need to be part of search result screen.

I think I'll only implement export because importing from one system to another seems difficult (at least in XML). However, I do plan to write a migration system so you can move your existing bug tracking installation to Bugdar from other solutions (even other Bugdars).

- Mstone (old) from "" to "1.2.0"

I think for now Import it's not so important as Export.

XML export is now implemented on TRUNK for the 1.2.0 release.
